Perception for Industrial
Robotics Automation (PIRA)

CVPR 2025 Workshop

About the Workshop

Welcome to the Perception for Industrial Robotics Automation (PIRA) Workshop! This event brings together advanced computer vision research and practical industrial robotics. Even with many breakthroughs, solving real-world tasks like robotic bin picking is still challenging. At PIRA, we focus on topics like 3D scene understanding, 3D vision, egocentric and embodied AI, foundation models, robot learning, and synthetic data. Our goal is to connect researchers and industry experts to build more reliable, faster, and scalable industrial solutions.

Perception Challenge for Bin Picking

We invite you to join our Intrinsic Bin Picking Challenge, featuring $60k in prizes! The competition runs from February 1st to May 1st, and winners will present their solutions at the workshop.

This challenge is organized by OpenCV in collaboration with Intrinsic, BOP, Orbbec, and the University of Hawaii.
